Inquire if the expectant mom created a wish list in the local department store. A pregnant woman lists the gifts she would like to receive for her baby and submits this list to a local department store or to a baby gift shop online.

You can look at the items on her wish list and check which ones have been taken off so you don’t end up giving a duplicate gift.
